The women featured on both the 2021 and 2022 Women Impacting ISU calendars were recognized at a reception on Jan. 25 in the Sun Room of the Memorial Union.
Nine projects received funding through the 2021 Carrie Chapman Catt Prize for Research on Women and Politics.
On Feb. 24, Nichola Gutgold gave a virtual presentation on her 2021 book, “Electing Madam Vice President: When Women Run Women Win.”
The Catt Center’s team of undergraduate researchers has entered the second phase of their research project on Iowa women’s experience as political candidates.
The Catt Center is working with several departments and organizations to organize a campus-wide mock election to educate students about the ranked-choice voting system.
The Catt Center thanks their donors for their friendship, support and contributions in 2021.
