New civic education initiative for Iowa State University Cyclone Civics, a new university-wide civic education and free expression initiative, will be coordinated through the Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics. Kelly Shaw joins Catt Center staff The Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics was pleased to welcome Kelly Shaw, teaching professor of political science, to its staff this fall. Interns and graduate assistants support Catt Center research and programming Undergraduate interns and graduate assistants are supporting the Catt Center staff with its research, programming and student voter outreach for the 2024-25 academic year. Meet the 2024-2025 Legacy of Heroines scholars The Legacy of Heroines Scholarship Program welcomed 24 scholars for the 2024-2025 academic year. Status of Women report added to Catt Center research initiatives The Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics recently added Iowa State University’s Status on Women and Gender Equity Report as one of its research initiatives.
