Through the support of donors, the Catt Center offers paid internships to Iowa State Univerity undergraduate students to work on special projects, events, or research sponsored by the center. In some cases, these internships can be used to fulfill an internship requirement for a major. The center may also have graduate assistantships some years, based on the needs of the center.
Most internships are fall through spring of an academic year, though sometimes internships are available in the summer. Positions are typically filled in late spring for the following academic year, but sometimes internships are available to start in January. Students must be registered as an Iowa State University undergraduate student for at least one credit hour in the semester of employment to be eligible.
Open internships for the 2025-2026 academic year include the following positions. Applications are open through April 20, 2025. Applications must be submitted via the online application form (link in the position descriptions).
