The Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics is now accepting applications for the 2015 Women Impacting ISU calendar.

Download the form here.

The deadline to submit nomination packets is Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014.

Each year, 12 women from a variety of disciplines and diverse backgrounds are selected for the calendar based on their leadership and accomplishments that have positively impacted Iowa State, said Kristine Keil, public relations/student programs coordinator of the Catt Center.

“This recognition is focused on the important role women play at Iowa State University,” Keil said. “And by opening the nomination process early, we’re hoping this allows nominators to really focus on submitting the best possible application for their nominee.”

The poster-size calendar features photographs of the honorees along with a short description of their achievements.

Contributions made in the classroom, through campus involvement or community relationships and among students and professionals at ISU are considered. The calendar honors women currently employed or enrolled at ISU. Anyone, whether affiliated with ISU or not, may nominate a current student, faculty or staff member. The calendar was initiated in 2007 by the Catt Associates student leadership organization as a tribute to current students, faculty and staff.

Sponsored by the Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics, the calendar receives funding from the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost.
