Nominations for 2014 calendar due Sept. 30

CATEGORIES: July 2013, Voices

Nominations are being accepted for the 2014 Women Impacting ISU calendar through Monday, Sept. 30.

The annual calendar, which was initiated in 2007, highlights the accomplishments and achievements of 12 women currently on the Iowa State University campus as students, faculty and staff. Selections are made by a committee comprised of previous honorees and nominators and Catt Center staff based on the nominees’ achievements in administration, teaching, research and service as well as their involvement in various campus activities.

The nomination form for the 2014 calendar is available on the Catt Center’s website. The completed nomination packet must be received by the Catt Center, 309 Catt Hall, by 5 p.m., Monday, Sept. 30.

Funding for the calendar is provided by Iowa State’s Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost. Catt Center staff and students publicize and collect the nominations; organize the recognition reception in January of each year; and design, order and distribute the calendar.

For more information about the calendar nomination process or to get a nomination form, contact Kristine Keil, public relations/student programs coordinator at the Catt Center, at kskeil@iastate.edu or 294-9867.
